The Bisto Kid at Nuash (Brock) 5/11/12

The Bisto Kid at Nuash (Brock) 5/11/12

Brock is a real character, always up to something and ready for anything! He is a great working dog and works with me on the local shoot throughout the shooting season he is an exceptionally good game finding dog and enjoys his role in the beating line , he is not that bothered about picking up but will do it if required .   Brock is also lightly shown and has gained his stud book number. At the GSP Club Championship show in 2021 under breed specialist Barbara Rigby Brock went Best Veteran in Show he probably will hang up his show lead now . Brock has a good temperament and lives happily with 3 other entire male GSPs
. Brock is fully health tested. Hip score 4:5. Eyes clear. Heart tested by the pet blood bank Brock retired from donating age 9 but had donated 14 times  before he retired . Brock has sired some beautiful puppies several with 0:0 hip scores , including some that have gone on to not only be good working dogs but operational detection dogs including both drug and explosive detection dogs
Brock himself enjoys competing in Scentwork U.K. Brock is competing at Level 4 now and has also passed his National Nosework Association
odour recognition test Entry Level, so hopefully we can start to compete in their trial soon
Know No Bounds at Nuash JW (Bodie) 18/1/14

Know No Bounds at Nuash JW (Bodie) 18/1/14

Bodie is a very gentle dog with the sweetest of natures, he is a good working dog and is out on the shoot with me during the shooting season . He is now really coming into his own as a great picking up dog , sitting quietly waiting till the end of the drives to go do his job
. Bodie is also shown and has done a reasonable amount of winning, including gaining his junior warrant, therefore gaining his stud book number.I can’t believe he is now old enough that at his last show he went Best Veteran in show it was the GSP Club Open show  Bodie  is fully health tested. Hip score 3:4. Eyes clear. Heart tested by the pet blood bank where he has donated 14 times , sadly due to a minor issue he has had to retire from donating. . Bodie has sired some lovely puppies that have gone on to not only be good working dogs but also do some winning in the show ring too. Bodie  seems to pass on his calm sweet nature , all of which I can see in his son Bong who also lives with us.
Bodie too enjoys scentwork and has gained his level 1 excellent but because he is such a sensitive boy I find he struggles with the pressure of trials and will false indicate just to please me , so we now very rarely compete now & just do it in training .Bodie has taken up Mantrailing and it took him a while to understand that we need to find the missing person ( he wasn’t completely convinced) but now he loves it and is coming on really well .
Easesprings Oberon at Nuash (Bong ) 5/4/18

Easesprings Oberon at Nuash (Bong ) 5/4/18

Bong was 5 in April  and is Bodie’s son and just like Bodie, is a real sweet boy.
Bong has really come into his own now and is proving to be a useful sort of dog out on the shoot . He started his puppy training by learning from the best , my fabulous boy Boo who sadly passed away in April 2020
Bong now works alongside his dad BODIE and together they are making a great team out picking up
Bong also competes  at Scentwork UK trials and we are extremely impressed with this boy, he  has a real aptitude for it. Bong has just gained his level 5 excellent.
Bong is only lightly shown with a reasonable amount of success with several Best Puppy in Breed awards. His last outing he gained Res Best Dog at the GSP Club Open show , it’s not really his thing , he much prefers to be doing something
Bong is also now fully health tested , Hip score 4:2, Eyes clear and his heart was tested clear by the pet blood bank he has now donated 8 times . Bong has now sired a few litters and to say I’m pleased with what he is producing is an understatement, from his latest  litter two  of the pups are showing great potential and  hopefully will be trained up to be operational detection dogs

Brock’s Bouncer at Nuash

(Bing) 9/3/20

Bing is the new baby and is now 3 years old he is a bundle of mischief, he is Brock’s son out of Bodie’s litter sister so actually combines all of my boys  breeding going back 4 generations on both sides . Bing does do some Gundog training and has been out with us on the shoot just to learn what goes on . Bing is still very much a baby where any Gundog work is concerned however he has taken to scentwork like a fish to water .

Bing has worked extremely hard at his scentwork and gained his Excellent titles at all levels from 1-4 he is now competing in level 5 , Bing has also done his NNA , ORT for the Entry level so hopefully he can start to compete in their trials too .

Bing was shown for the very first time age 15 months old so never got in the ring as a puppy . He gained a 3rd place which actually qualifies him for Crufts although he can never go because of him being docked for working.

Bing is now fully health tested  hip score 4:5 the same as his dad Brock , Eyes tested clear & heart tested clear by the pet blood bank every time he donates blood , he has donated 5  times so far . Bing will continue with his training and I also am hoping to train him to track wounded deer , as with all my boys they are at stud to fully health tested approved bitches .
